Spiritual Counseling reaches to every part of the human experience. It touches the mind-body-spirit connection, which is an integral part of who we are as human beings on this planet. We all already live from the standpoint of emotional and physical awareness, but few of us have learned to live from the standpoint of soul. Yet, it is this very idea of living from spiritual awareness that is to our greatest benefit. We are all children of Divine Source and our experiences herein are various incarnations are but a part of the whole. Once we have found that link between self and Spirit, between our inner definition of self and Divine Source, then we are already "Learning to Live in Enlightenment" or "Learning to Live from the Center Out". This is Divine Consciousness; this is Higher Consciousness in action; this is our earthly heritage.

When we can heal ourselves from the point of view of mind-body-spirit, we find fulfillment. When we learn to view ourselves from that eternal and immortal standpoint, our lives take on a true and unclouded perspective. When we find that inner wisdom that is our ever-present guiding Light, we already have found our true purpose and Reason for Being.

No matter what the challenge or obstacle you face, no matter the depth or duration of your situation, you can come to spiritual balance and inner harmony. It is in part a "willingness to take the journey" and in part a "desire to change", but in either case, having a qualified spiritual guide and facilitator will help you to discover your inmost desire, your own True Self. We are now facing challenging and difficult times. There is a definite struggle going on between materialism and spirituality. It is the individual's choice to walk in the Light of Divine Consciousness at any time, in any place or to remain occluded.

The Reverend Dr. AliceAnn Saunders is a qualified spiritual counselor. She is licensed as a minister in the Circle of Divine Light, a non-sectarian, non-denominational church. Rev. AliceAnn has a Doctorate in Transpersonal Psychology and has studied Zen, Celtic spirituality and Christian mystical traditions for more than 35 years. She has experience in individual, family, couples, and group psychotherapies, past-life therapy, hypnosis and hospice/bereavement groups; she is an instructor in mystical traditions and teaches guided meditation and contemplation.
